What is NEW with UCPath?

BEGINNING ON JANUARY 2, 2020 

  • The UCPath Portal will replace AYSO for employee self-service transactions.
  • New Employee Identification (ID) numbers will be assigned.

  • Pay statements get a makeover and will include leave balances (sick, vacation, sabbatical for faculty)
    • UCPath will be the system of record for leave balances
  • Paper paychecks will be sent via U.S. Postal Service to AYSO home addresses from a bank in Arizona and may take 2-4 days to arrive. 


    Employee ID Numbers


    • UCPath will provide new employee identification (ID) numbers.
    • After 8:00 a.m. on Thurs., January 2, 2020, employees can:
      • Log into the UCPath Portal to see their new employee ID number.
      • For employees who use CruzPay, new UCPath Employee ID numbers will be available in CruzPay.

  • Staff Employee Performance Appraisal System


    • Staff HR will be using the new UCPath ePerformance module for staff appraisals beginning January 2020 
    • Staff HR will provide more information on business process and training in early 2020
    • Please contact SHR with any questions related to these processes

  • Composite Benefit Rate (CBR) Assessment


  • With UCPath, all campuses will use a composite benefit rate (CBR) assessment method for determining employer-paid benefits.

    • Employee-paid benefits contribution amounts will not be affected.
    • Beginning in December 2019 and January 2020, our campus will implement CBR along with UCPath.
