New Direct Deposit Validation Coming This August

Due to an increase in fraudulent activity, especially on bank account data, UCPath is implementing additional measures to protect employee data on August 24. When employees want to view or update their self-service direct deposit information, they will need to complete the account number challenge.

This will be displayed after the employee has completed the self-service security questions.

  • Employees will need to enter one full active account number tied to their direct deposit.
  • The system allows up to three attempts to enter an active account number correctly. After the 3rd unsuccessful attempt, employees will need to try again the next day.
  • This step is required to view or make changes to direct deposit information. This added layer of security is critical in helping safeguard employee financial information.

Action Needed:
Employees should have their bank account number ready anytime they plan to update or review their direct deposit information in UCPath.
