Important Information for Employees working remotely outside of California

April 14, 2020

In response to the COVID-19 shelter in place directives, many UCSC employees are now temporarily working remotely and may be living in another state or country.  UCPath Center and UC Office of the President have requested that we inform employees of tax implications if you are currently working but not residing in California (temporarily).

Action is only necessary if you have temporarily moved to a location outside of California and are continuing to work remotely; or if you have moved to a different out of state location from where you normally work.

If you meet this criteria, please review the Tax Form information on the UCPath Portal.

Please contact payhelp@ucsc.edu if questions.
